Additional Information
To use, gently place the sleeve over the arm or leg. For the arm, position it with the material flap over the back of the hand and the elastic across the palm to help hold the flap in position. The sleeve may extend beyond the elbow or you can fold the end over to make it shorter.
If you need some extra protection over a particular area of the arm, place some padding between the arm and the sleeve. Always inspect the arm for an adverse reaction to the patient continually wearing the Arm/Leg Shearing Sleeve.
This product is to help with the prevention of pressure sores. Sometimes, due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
