The Bed Heel Raiser is designed to lift the heel off the bed. It is 20cm / 8" long and the high end can hold the heel 4cm / 1.5" off the bed, depending on the weight of the ankle and foot. The inside surface of the foam is convoluted, helping to reduce pressure underneath the ankle. The covers are made out of a soft vinyl and are 100% heat sealed, allowing for easy cleaning with normal hospital grade disinfectant.
