The Chair Wedge Anti-Slide cushion can be used as a non-restraint product to help prevent people from sliding off chairs. When in use, ensure the Patient's feet reach the ground or footplates, if in a wheelchair. Do not leave their feet dangling above the floor. We recommend using a Leg Support (sold separately) that prevents pressure on the heels and helps prevent footdrop.

- The cushion consists of an angled foam wedge on the bottom and a layer of convoluted foam on top, making it softer and more comfortable to sit on.
- Four ties are provided to secure the cushion to a chair.
- This product is an alternative to the Sit Slide & Stand Pad, used to slide a Patient's hips to the back of the chair.
- The webbing handles can also be used to help the Patient stand up when transferring.
- For more active people, the Chair Belt for Sliders - Rear Fastening may be an option, allowing movement while preventing sliding or standing.
