The Commode Toilet Seat Reducer is designed for thin frail and bony patients who may slip down into the toilet bowl. Use on commode chairs, shower chairs or straight on a toilet seat. The Seat Reducer is made from a firm density, waterproof foam which reduces the gap of the hole in the toilet seat. It is approximately 1cm / .4" thick and is not designed as a soft cushion.

Additional Information
Note: We make the internal hole small, so that you can cut some foam away from the inside hole with scissors to increase the size. Sometimes the Seat Reducer may lift off the toilet seat when the patient stands up. We prefer to let the patient stand and then take the cushion away from under them. If the cushion is taped to the toilet seat the patient may shear their skin when they try to stand up.

Cleaning
Wipe clean with a hospital grade disinfectant. Wipe dry. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
Important
This product could also be helpful with the prevention of pressure sores. Sometimes, due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
