Description

The Footrest Bed Cradle is made from foam, cut into a triangular wedge shape with three different angles. When positioned as a footrest, determine which of the three angles is most suitable for the patient. In use, the weight of the blankets will be taken by the foam, thus relieving the feet of extra pressure.

Key Features

  • Triangular wedge shape with three adjustable angles.
  • Relieves pressure on the feet by supporting the weight of bedclothes.
  • Can be used to prevent slipping when sitting up in bed.
  • Versatile use as a back rest, pillow, or side support.

Additional Information

Note the colour of the loops that are next to the heels. You can then use the correct angle for the feet to rest against by referring to the coloured loops. The bedclothes may still touch the feet so they should keep warm. This is because they will not be in a void that is created by some other bed cradles. The weight of the bedclothes may be sufficient to hold the cradles in place, but if necessary it can be tied into position using the coloured loops.

Item # 125
