Hikvision external siren
External wireless siren for the Hikvision AX Pro alarm system. This siren has the model number DS-PS1-E-WB.
As the name suggests, the Hikvision DS-PS1-E-WB external siren is intended for outdoor use. Mounting on the façade or anywhere else is no problem. Always make sure that the siren is clearly visible to people walking in the street, or to your neighbour's. In the event of a burglary, the siren will generate a loud tone of 110 decibels and attract the attention of neighbour's or passers-by. Thanks to the coloured lamp on this outdoor siren, it also attracts maximum attention in the dark.
Wireless external siren
The DS-PS1-E-WB external siren runs on 4x CR123A batteries and has a minimum lifespan of 3 years. This has been tested on a siren service life of 90 seconds every 2 weeks. We hope and expect that if this siren is attached to your home, it will not sound every 2 weeks, so the actual battery life will be considerably longer. Of course the actual battery status can always be read in the Hik-Connect application.
Securing the siren
In addition, the connection between the external siren and the Hikvision Hub is constantly monitored. Should the signal drop out for any reason, you will always be informed immediately. Of course, the external siren also has tamper protection, which ensures that the siren sounds if, for example, it is knocked off the wall. Again, you will always be informed immediately via the app.
External siren can be mounted anywhere
Hikvision external siren has an IP65 rating in terms of watertightness. So it is no problem to mount it anywhere, heavy rain or full sunshine, no problem at all. The temperature at which the siren can operate is between -20 and +60 degrees. The dimensions are 19 x 20 x 4.7 centimetres and the weight is 607 grams.
