Iodosorb dressings are sterile formulations of cadexomer iodine designed to support effective wound management. When applied, they absorb excess fluid, removing exudate, pus, and debris while forming a protective gel over the wound surface. As the gel swells, iodine is gradually released, killing bacteria and changing colour to indicate when the dressing should be replaced.
