Additional Information
We know that there is a lot of evidence to show us that journaling can be very beneficial in supporting and maintaining mental health. A focus on developing tools to manage stress and anxiety and using such tools in a pre-emptive way can reduce the risk of more serious long-term mental health difficulties. The idea here is to encourage young people to develop their own toolbox of wellbeing and to essentially have some fun while doing so. They can make this journal their own, have fun in the process, and use it to find their own sense of calm in this world. Gaining strength, getting to know yourself better, expressing yourself more freely, and getting to know your creative side too will all provide the foundation for future wellbeing and good mental health.
