Description

National Geographic Compass This rugged, centimetre and scale, compass, features 360, floating scales, and a north arrow. The sight wire and slot allow accurate targeting of land objects. A practical eyelet makes it possible to attach to snap hooks.

Features

  • Centimetre and a measuring scale.

Floating 360° scale and compass needle.

    Sight wire and slot.

Lug for attachment to a carabiner.

  • Important for the compass to work, there are a few things to consider when using it. Always keep the compass level so the north arrow and scale can rotate freely.

  • Do not use the compass near metal (e.g. metal bridge railings) or magnetic objects (e.g. mobile phones).

  • These things interfere with the correct reading because the north arrow is magnetic.

  • Accordingly, the compass can only work reliably outdoors and not indoors.
