The Security ID Tags are a great way of ensuring something has not been opened. They are also known as tamper-proof clips or security tags. There are many times staff will open bags to remove something from inside, but then the item is not replaced. This is a problem for the next person who needs the equipment.
Key Features
- Bags for oxygen tubing
- Oxygen masks
- Tools such as spanners
- Nasal cannula
- Latex gloves
- Jankauer sucker and suction catheter
Some of these examples may be life-threatening. Pelican uses these Security ID Tags on our range of Evacuation ResQ products for emergency fire evacuations. Normally one evacuation product is used for staff training, and there may be 20 more kept ready for an emergency evacuation. By having a Security ID Tag on the bag of the stored evacuation products, it will be obvious if they have been tampered with. The evacuation product used for training should be the only one with a broken tag.
Additional Information
If the security number is recorded in a register, then it will indicate when the Annual Inspection for the evacuation product has been carried out. It should also show who did the inspection. If the evacuation product is used in an emergency situation, then the Security ID Tag will quickly release when the bag is opened. The Security ID Tag numbers are unique. We deliberately packed them randomly, and the numbers are not in sequence. This product comes in a pack of 25.
