This product is designed to help support and stabilise a Patient’s neck and head while they are using a lifting sling. It may help Patients who go into extensor spasms. It consists of a foam roll with a removable poly-cotton cover, and two Hook & Loop Tape Straps.

The Neck Support can be fitted to many types of slings and hoists, simply by passing the white Loop Tape Straps on either side through the sling’s webbing loops, or around the hoist hooks. Adjust the length of the Straps so that the Neck Support curves around the back of the Patient’s neck before doing up the Hook & Loop Tape. The Loop Tape Straps can be trimmed, once the correct length has been determined.

Cleaning
Unzip the cover and remove the foam before washing. Hand or machine wash up to 80°C (176°F). Air dry or cool tumble dry. If the foam is washed, squeeze it to remove excess water. The foam may take a long time to fully dry. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.

WARNING: Make sure the covered zip is on the outside, facing away from the Patient’s neck.
