The Soft Ring Cushion - Small can be used to support smaller people by being placed around the shoulders and used with a General Cushion as a pillow. A Therapist should position the Cushion, rearranging, adding, or removing filling to suit individual Patients.

Cleaning
Hand or machine wash up to 80°C/176°F. Cool tumble dry or air dry in shade. Chlorine bleach can damage the filling and covers. It is common to purchase a second cover for regular washing. If the hollow-core filling needs washing, the entire Cushion can also be washed as above. Larger sized Cushions may not fit in a domestic washing machine but can be washed by hand in a large laundry sink or bath. Hand-squeeze excess water out and air dry in shade. If the internal filling becomes dislodged during washing, it can be re-arranged by unzipping the Cushion and plumping the fibre.
Waterproof Heat Sealed Covers can be wiped clean with a hospital-grade disinfectant or removed and washed as mentioned above. Important: Ensure all parts of the Cushion are completely dry before use or storage.
Important
Inspect for any cuts in the material or open seams before using. If any damage is found, withdraw from use and contact Pelican Manufacturing. When handling, transporting, or storing the Vacuum Bag, ensure it will not be damaged by sharp objects. This product is designed to help prevent pressure sores, but continuous monitoring is necessary as the product may become unsuitable if the patient deteriorates.
