Description

The transition from teen to young adult is a challenging development process for a variety of reasons. One of them being the seesaw between independence and dependence. In the independent role teens want the freedoms attributable to adults. But when something goes wrong in the adult role typically they revert to the teen role and so the cycle continues until the transition is complete.
