Thermoregulating T-Shirt - Long Sleeve

These Thermoregulating (TR) T-Shirt - Long Sleeves are specially designed for people who may not be able to control their body temperature when sleeping or during the day. This may be due to a number of reasons that may include a personal condition such as a form of hyperhidrosis, reaction to medication, or menopause. This product may also help some people with a proprioceptive condition, including sensory processing disorder, autism, or ADHD.

Specifications

When working out the chest sizing, we laid the T-shirts down flat and measured across side to side. We then placed our arms inside the shirts and stretched them out to get a reasonable pressure that would be comfortable to wear. This is not a scientific measurement, but it does give an indication of what can be expected in terms of the amount of stretch.

To Measure for Size: To select the right size T-shirt based on chest measurements, it's important to have the individual stand naturally with their arms down by their sides. Then, using a measuring tape, wrap it around the fullest part of their chest, ensuring it passes over the shoulder blades and under the armpits. The tape should be snug but not overly tight.

This chest measurement serves as a guideline for choosing the appropriate size from the size chart. The size you select may also depend on if you want a loose or tighter fit for sensory reasons. Alternatively, if there is a T-shirt that you have worn comfortably before, lay it flat and measure across side to side, then double that measurement and compare it to our size chart.

Cleaning

Hand or machine wash up to 40°C (104°F). We recommend using a Pelican Washing Bag when machine washing this item to give it a longer life. Air dry in shade or cool tumble dry. If ironing is required, do not iron on the patterned side of the material, and use a warm iron only. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
