The satin cover of the wenaCel sensitive comfort Quilt is made from TENCEL Lyocell fibres and cotton, while the high-tech hollow fibre, wenaLoft and TENCEL Lyocell fibres are quilted throughout for perfect climate and moisture management.
The Sanitized Hygiene Function, a feature of all wenaCel sensitive products, has an antimicrobial and anti-mite effect that keeps your bedding hygienic, hypoallergenic, creating the best environment for healthy sleep. The Quilt is also washable at up to 60°C. It’s ideal for allergy sufferers.
Our wenaCel sensitive comfort Quilt is available in a number of sizes.
No matter the size of your bed, we have a Wenatex doona available for you! If you don’t see the size you need, check out the SilverMed Quilt range.
Sleep in comfort with Wenatex hypoallergenic quilts, alternatively known as a hypoallergenic duvet, and take advantage of the hygienic and hypoallergenic effects of the SilverMed® fibre (SilverMed Plus) or the Sanitized Hygiene Function (wenaCel sensitive comfort).
The inner material of our quilts contains high-tech hollow fibre wenaLoft® material that creates a perfect climate and moisture management system. Wenatex Quilts are also light and breathable.
These features help you stay dry and warm; make it easy to move your quilt from place to place.
Available in Summer and Winter options. Which means that regardless of your local climate, you can ensure a controlled and comfortable sleep environment.
Either option makes for a wonderful temperature controlled duvet that will help provide you with a good night’s rest. Each option can be easily washed at up to 60 degrees Celsius for ongoing cleanliness and comfort. The sturdy design means you do not need to worry about the filling moving about, even after washing.
Furthermore, the curved quilting and edge binding means your quilt will adjust to your body.
The Winter Quilt consists of 100% premium cotton-sateen with SilverMed® fibre woven in. This premium temperature controlled duvet is quilt-stitched and contains curled climate-control hollow threads. These climate-control hollow fibres are lighter than similar materials, produce a greater amount of insulation, deliver excellent heat efficiency and make sure that there is an adequate amount of air circulation.
Our hypoallergenic quilts combine the advantages of medicinal silver with hollow fibres that have climate control capabilities.
Our hypoallergenic quilts are also excellent for use in the summer. Wenatex has developed the wenaCel sensitive comfort Summer Quilt – a hygienic quilt that uses the same materials as the Winter quilt in its design. You benefit from the identical hygiene standards and hypoallergenic properties as the Winter Quilt.
The Summer Quilt, however, is half the weight of the Winter Quilt and is perfect for warmer times in Australia. Additionally, since it excels at wicking away moisture it makes a great option for those who perspire more frequently.
The spiral-shaped, twisted Wenatex climate-control hollow fibres inside the quilt promote air circulation and keep you warm.
As a result of the climate-control hollow fibres, moisture is diverted from the body and heat is retained, making for a temperature controlled duvet that is beautifully cosy for you at night.
How Do I Care for My Wenatex Hypoallergenic Duvet?
Wash the Wenatex Quilt at 60 degrees Celsius at least twice a year in a washing machine large enough to allow free movement. The quilt should always be washed alone. Always wash on a gentle cycle using wenaCare or a gentle, natural–fibre washing detergent. Use a commercial washing machine if your machine is not big enough for your quilt, as damage caused by inadequate washing machine size is not covered under the Quality Guarantee.
All beds benefit from daily airing. We recommend that you expose your mattress to the air for as long as possible each day to dissipate any moisture in the hypoallergenic duvet and mattress that has accumulated during sleep.
How Do I Know if I Should Get a Summer or Winter Weight Wenatex Quilt?
The Summer Quilt is half the weight of the Winter Quilt and is suitable for a warmer climate and for those who perspire more during the night. The Winter Quilt is suitable for a cooler climate and for those who need the extra warmth.
Do I Have to Use a Quilt Cover on My Wenatex Quilt?
We recommend that you use a quilt cover with our hypoallergenic quilts to prolong their longevity.
To get the most out of your wenaCel® sensitive comfort Quilt, please ensure that you follow these important care instructions:
Coverings The quilt products should be used with appropriate coverings, i.e. quilt cover. Use of a top sheet is optional. Wenatex The Sleep System offers a wenaCel® comfortPlus pillow case and fitted sheet to complement these products.
Washing the Quilt Wash your Wenatex doona at 60° Celsius at least twice per year in a washing machine large enough to allow free movement. The quilt should always be washed alone. Always wash on a gentle cycle using a gentle, natural-fibre washing detergent (without optical brightener, bleach, harsh chemicals or fabric softeners).
We recommend the use of wenaCare® laundry detergent, developed especially for Wenatex products. Wool wash or gentle detergents with no harsh chemicals, optical brighteners or bleach can also be used.
Drying After washing, your wenaCel sensitive comfort Quilt can be air-dried in the shade or placed in the dryer on a low/cool setting.
Aeration of the Quilt All beds benefit from daily airing. We recommend that you expose your bedding to the air for as long as possible each day to dissipate any moisture in the quilt and mattress that has accumulated during sleep.
