The Wool Bed Pad is made from 100% pure sheep's wool, specially treated for hospital conditions to help prevent pressure problems. The wool has a knitted back cloth that allows air to breathe, whereas sheepskin has a leather skin backing. Wool also has the added benefit of providing pressure care for the heels, elbows, hips, shoulders, etc. This product could be considered as the first line of defence to prevent pressure sores.

Additional Information
The Wool Bed Pad can be easily cut with a pair of scissors to make individual pads as required. After cutting, remove the loose wool fibres by hand from the edge of the cut. Even after washing, some more loose fibres will detach during the first couple of washes, but after this, the wool should stabilise.

Cleaning
Wash up to 80°C (176°F). Air dry in the shade, or tumble dry on a cool setting, ensuring the drum is cool. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
