The Wool Bed Slipper / Arm Protector is made from 100% pure sheep's wool. It is specially treated for hospital conditions to help prevent pressure problems. The wool has a knitted back cloth that allows air to breathe, whereas sheepskin has a leather skin backing. The Wool Bed Slipper / Arm Protector is placed under the foot with the heel laid in the shaped section, ensuring it cannot be fitted the wrong way around.

Additional Information
Sometimes this product is used to protect patients' arms where fragile skin can easily be damaged when being attended to by nursing staff. The wool pad can be cut with scissors if it is too large for some patients to make a more comfortable fit, and the Hook & Loop Tape can also be cut shorter.
To use, fold it around the foot and leg, and secure in position with the Hook and Loop straps. Depending on the individual patient's movement, the Hook and Loop straps can be a loose fit.

Cleaning
Wash up to 80°C (176°F). Air dry in the shade, or tumble dry on a cool setting, ensuring the drum is cool. Ensure the product is dry before using or storing.
Important
This product is to help with the prevention of pressure sores. Sometimes, due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
